Ringkasan Cerita Filim Superman : Man Of Steel, icon superhero ini selalu di hidupkan. Setelah sebelumnya film ini hampir redup dan muncullah Superman Return namun entah bagaimana film ini terkesan tidak "superman banget", film ini kurang di minati.

Gaung film superman masih terikat dipundak Christopher D'Olier Reeve seolah tugas Superman di "takdirkan" untuknya yang terbilang punya karisma sangat besar lengan berkuasa sebagai aktor Superman/Kal-El/Clark Kent.

Namun pada 2013 hadirlah Superman : Man of Steel di sutradaria oleh Zack Snyder dan di bintangi oleh seorang laki-laki berumur 30an asal Inggris, ini kali pertamanya aktor Superman di perankan oleh orang di luar warga kenegaraan Amerika yaitu Henry Cavill.

Berkisah ihwal seorang laki-laki dari planet lain Krypton, memiliki kekuatan di atas rata-rata alias super kuat, namun sayang pertikaian dan pemberontakan di planetnya terpaksa harus menciptakan "di buang ke bumi", oleh ayah dan ibu kandungnya.

Kecintaannya terhadap bumi mulai tumbuh atas dasar kasih orang bau tanah didik orisinil pribumi yang merawatnya yaitu pasangan Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) dan Martha (Diane Lane). Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) nama buminya beliau bekerja sebagai seorang reporter.

Walau kekuatannya yang mahir tokoh superhero selalu punya kelemahan yaitu jikalau menyangkut cinta, di satu sisi yaitu beliau harus menyadari bahwa beliau tidak sanggup hidup normal dengan berkeluarga, alasannya yaitu beliau sadar saar dirinya dalam ancaman bukan hanya dirinya yang terkena dampak melainkan juga orang yang di cintainya dan orang itu yaitu Lois Lane (Amy Adams).
