Sang Kuldesak Riri Riza

Sang Kuldesak Riri Riza, Pria Ini dilahirkan di Makasar 2 Oktober 1970. Pria Berkacamata ini yaitu seorang sutradara terkenal penulis naskah, produser film asal Indonesia. Pria dengan nama lengkap Mohammad Rivai Riza atau yang biasa di kenal dengan nama Riri Riza.

Berbagai Prestasi

Banyak sekali buah karya yang pernah ia lahirkan dari laki-laki berpenampilan kalem ini di ataranya yaitu film dokumenter, iklan layanan masyarakat, video klip dan film layar lebar. Ia joga jebolan dari Institut Kesenian Jakarta yang hingga dikala ini sering sekali berkolaborasi dengan sahabatnya Mira Lesmana.

Kesuksesan

Salah satu film perdana yang di sutradarainya di layar lebar yaitu Kuldesak di produksi tahun 1996 dan di rilis tahun 1998 bersama Mira Lesmana, Nan T. Achnas dan Rizal Mantovani sebagai penulis naskah skenarionya.

Kemudian menyusul Petualangan Sherina (2000), Eliana, Eliana (2002), Gie (2005), Untuk Rena (2005), 3 Hari untuk Selamanya (2007), Laskar Pelangi (2008) film dari buku karya Andrea Hirata yang fenomenal, Takut: Faces of Fear (2008) - Segmen Titisan Naya Drupadi (2008) dan Sang Pemimpi sekuel Laskar Pelangi (2009).

Lalu film dokumenternya berjudul Anak seribu pulau, siulan Bambu Toraja dan Kupu-kupu di atas Batikku. serta ada juga filmnya yang di putar khusus di stasiun Swasta RCTI untuk memperingati Hari Anak-anak Internasional tahun 1997.
